Eight strangers, one ridge
A hut-to-hut crossing of the Mischabel range turned into the kind of week nobody could quite describe at the airport.

Seven days on the high traverses of the Valais Alps. Hut-to-hut, daypack only, with a UIMLA-certified guide who has walked these ridges for fifteen seasons. Limited to six guests.
— Slow travel, on foot
We don't do bucket lists.
We don't do air-conditioned coaches.
We don't do photo stops.
We walk. We swim. We listen to the valley wake up.
We come home different.

— Why we exist
Wild Ma is a small, employee-owned outfit. We pick the trips we'd want to go on ourselves, then we go on every one of them at least once a season to keep them honest. We don't grow because growth is the only metric. We grow when one more local family asks to be on the route.
